January 2013!

I can't believe January has already come and gone!!

I arrived back in Honduras on Sunday January 13th.

Our staff here at Signs of Love has hit the ground running!
We are so excited to see what God has for us this new year.

Check out the month of January!

Each month we travel to 7 different villages surrounding our city to teach sign and the Bible.

On our way into Nueva Armenia I met Celeste for the first time. She is hard of hearing and hard headed! She is now one of my favorite people in the world. Although she would rather yell gibberish at us all, she did learn the sign for duck on the road to the program!

In order to teach language to those who have no language... we perform many awesome dramas!!

The staff taught the story of the "lost sheep" from Matthew chapter 18 verses 12-14 at each village program this past month.
Here is Orlan acting out the part of the shepherd bringing back his lost sheep, played by Jonatan in Nueva Armenia.
"Truly I tell you, He is happier about that one sheep than about the other 99 that did not wander off." -Matthew 18:13

On January 25th, our whole Signs of Love staff was able to meet for a one day retreat to get pumped up and ready to dive into our projects for 2013.
