Youth Camp 2012!

Hello!

So I should have posted this blog back in November... nevertheless, here it is!

Every year Signs of Love hosts a summer camp in which the Deaf in La Ceiba and in villages surrounding the city, come to spend 3 days all together to learn sign, and the Gospel.

This past year however, we took a different approach to having "camp".
We decided that having seperate "mini camps" with each village individually could serve as a better opportunity to teach each group of Deaf in a more sustainable manner. So, last year, we had 6 different "mini camps" with each village, and it turned out fantastic! We believe each group learned a ton more than they would have at the big camp.

As awesome as all the village mini camps turned out, we still had not held a camp in which the kids that live in the city could participate in, so we waited for school to finish the first week of November, and then we had the camp for the kids at the school... it was a blast!

Check out how much fun we had!
